Swedish massage is the most common type of massage that involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, rolling, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This can also combined with movement of the joints to aid in relaxation and improve flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

A style of massage that is designed to get into the connective tissue of the body, rather than just the surface muscles. When a massage therapist performs this type of treatment, they use a variety of techniques to deeply penetrate the muscles and fascia, loosening them and releasing tension.

Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.
